Still Alive and in Sydney... again
Hey everyone, sorry its been a while since we've had a post. Let me bring you up to speed... since our last post we were in Brisbane looking for a Car to buy or a car relocation/rental to sydney. So it wasnt anything interesting to share... I am sure you are wondering how we got to sydney though arent you?
Well, like I said we were looking for a car for a week straight and didnt come up with anything. So after 7 days of looking we decided we were just going to give up and stay in Brisbane and work. So we went to North Stradbroke Island (see photo album) which was awesome!! The water was so clear and green. We even saw some sea turtles swimming by and could see hump back whales spouting way off in the distance.
The next day we went into the city to get on the internet and start looking for work... I decided to check and see if there was a relocation to Sydney, you know just for fun, and sure enough as soon as we stopped looking, we found one! We rented a campervan for $25 a day and the last 3 days we made our way to Sydney (which was 1000kms away). It was lots of fun, saw some amazing landscape, and didnt crash either! We did almost get smoked by a City bus in Sydney... I had to veer into oncoming traffic cause the bus driver just decided to pull out into our lane while we were right beside him... fun stuff. Oh and when we dropped the van off at Apollo they said that we had gone 3000kms over the allowed limit and now owed them $1400!! (Erynn nearly had a Sh*t fit) but I calmed her down and explained to them that it was impossible to drive 4000kms in two days... after 15mins they agreed and let us go without paying anything... phew.
Anywho, thats about it for now, I'll add some more photo's of north stradbroke and our little journey down here when I get on the net again. For now we are staying in Bondi beach and going to see if we can find a place to work and live... if not, then who knows where we will go next... Perth maybe?

hey guys,
Good to hear from you finally. Hope you find something interesting to do there. It has been lukewarm here. Snow fell but didn't stay. That was a good thing. Anyway get back to looking for a job now.. im sure you're just about broke.. ya rite hey?

At long last we see footy is still around and getting a great view. I bet it was a blast going back to Sydney in a camper van...maybe you should buy it..HaHa. Kathy's right...get back to work like the rest of us.
