A Video update
Hi everyone!! Well this week we decided to try something a little different, we are adding Video! I added a link to my Youtube account where I uploaded a few video's that we have taken along the way. You'll probably notice that most of them are of the fumes gig... I think Erynn had most of it recorded, cause the 2GB memory card was nearly full after the show. I know those ones might not sound so good cause we were right in front of a person sized speaker, and I don't think the little camera was designed to handle that.
Anywho, we recorded a little 'hello from Oz' for everyone, you just have to hit the play button in the picture to see it. You would be surprised how many takes this took us!! Its hard to have a conversation into a camera and not sound like a wanker, or more of one anyway.
This week we went to the Sydney Aquarium! This is quite the place, it took us hours to get through everything! We saw a platypus to back flips for us, a big salty Croc, a fish that eats baby crocs! colorful jellyfish, little penguins, and seals. They had a touch pool with spiny sea urchins and then we felt a baby shark! Erynn says it felt like sandpaper, I say it was more like felt. I also think she had her eyes closed and felt a rock. After feeling the baby shark we went over to the big ones... or should I say under. The aquarium had an underwater tunnel so we could get nice and close to them. There were also giant stingrays, and Lager head turtles and other little fish with them, but he sharks didn't seem interested in eating them for some reason. Maybe they are vegetarians like the sharks on Nemo? As we finished up we came to the last huge tank. The wall of glass to see into the tank was at least 12 feet tall! It was as if we were right in there with them. So we sat there and watched all the different fish and sharks swim by for about 10mins and took it all in.
Other than that, the only other things we have been up to is Checking out the massive Xmas tree in the Queen Victoria building on our way to Bondi Beach. We actually ran into some Canadian friends that we met in Brisbane on the train there! Twas strange stuff, we were just talking about them on the way to the beach, and two mins later we see them amongst the 5 million other people that live here. As for the job front, I am still continuing the unemployed streak, now at 3months today!! Erynn has some temp work punching peoples names into a computer with Amnesty International. She says it's nothing glorious, but pays quite well! Suits us just fine.
Well that's all for this week. Enjoy the video's, leave comments, and don't let the cold weather get to you. We aren't. :)

Aussie fact of the day - 20 million people live in Australia. There are more Kangaroo's than people.

Hey you two!
Those aquariums are so cool, I'm glad you're having a good time. Good luck with the job hunting Nathan, tho jobs are quite over rated. Nothing new in Saskatoon, the weather's good (+6 today) and last weekend I was in Regina and no jacket was required. Gorgeous. Well, not the city, just the weather. Ok, I'm rambling, take care, have fun thanks for the videos :)
After watching that youtube vid I flew into a fit of jealous rage and threw a glass at my monitor. After going out and buying a new monitor I left this post. I will now, out of spite, force myself to tan in the snow down by the river. Good night and good luck. ;)

Those are some sweet vids!... I was just wondering if that one video of the kangaroo jumping away at "feeding" time was the kangaroo you made steaks out of?? :P mmmm tasty!
nope, that wasn't the same one... I hadn't tried Roo steaks yet. If I would have known how tasty they were I would have brought a fork and knife and had my self a lil BBQ. mmmm fresh baby roo... LOL

Oh yeah.. sorry guys, I missed the part where you said that there were more vids to look at. I want a wallaby so if you could send one back with my baby koala that would be awsome.. that is if Erynn the barbarian doesnt eat them first!
